Pretty much any VW Bus is going to get a CP vote from me. Seriously, go check out the classified section on TheSamba. It’s incredible what people are asking (and sometimes getting) for their rotted out hoopties
This one looks like it was pulled out of the bottom of a lake. $8,500 .
This one has sat for years, rotting. $15,000 .
This poor fella is more rot than van at this point. Probably not a single useful piece. $3,000 .
This unfortunate van was found full of years’ worth of trash in a field. It’s missing glass and front floors. $12,000 .
It’s not to say that I don’t love old VW Busses. I do. I just think the prices are entirely outlandish.

And, for that same stupid reason, this probably is a reasonable price for the chassis for those same Kool-Aid drinkers.
If you could ID what this was originally, it might even be a bargain, because people are crazy.
